due to the excessive vibration certain onboard parts detach off the board and stop the communication with the vital area's of the board

common issues when the selector is not responding
gear selector stuck up in any number of gears
flashing gear selection
key stuck in the key reader under the dash
wont lock
sign on dash requesting the key to be removed. which subsequently will drain the battery.

this only a board level repair. there are small parts which can snap off internally which we stock, if that is found to be broken on inspection it will be required to be repaired at the same time or the selector will continue to be none functional, this can only be found out once dismantled.
